Honor’s Robot Phone Puts a Gimbal Where the Camera Used to Be
In Brief: Honor launched the Robot Phone in China, the world’s first smartphone built around a fully integrated 4-axis mechanical gimbal that swivels the camera independently of the handset.
The Details:
The titanium gimbal packs over 100 precision components into a housing 65% smaller than typical camera gimbals, moving at up to 360 degrees per second.

Black Forest Labs’ FLUX 3 Video Gets a Voice
In Brief: Black Forest Labs released FLUX 3 Video to the public, letting anyone generate up to 20-second HD clips from text or images with native, in-sync audio baked into the same generation pass.

The model produces clips up to 1080p with audio generated alongside the visuals, rather than tacked on as a separate dubbing step.
A draft mode lets users preview a 720p clip for $0.06 per second before paying full price for the finished render, making iteration far cheaper.
Black Forest Labs says the model rated highest among human evaluators for both text-to-video and image-to-video generation, with 2K and 4K support expected within days.

IBM Trains Thousands of Consultants on OpenAI’s Tools
