Moonshot AI open-sourced Kimi K3, a 2.8-trillion-parameter model that jumped to #1 on the Frontend Code Arena leaderboard, overtaking Anthropic’s Fable 5.
Thinking Machines released Inkling, its first open-weight model at 975 billion parameters under an Apache 2.0 license, though it still trails top Chinese systems.
Anthropic extended free access to Fable 5 for paid users through July 19 — the third extension in five weeks — before usage credits kick in.
Humanoid raised $150 million in the first tranche of a Series A that values the London-based robot maker at $1.2 billion, with another $80-100 million targeted by September.
